Recently, with the re-establishment of the POSI group, more people have been involved to some degree with the FRDCSA than ever before. The use of the FRDCSA core systems in POSI, while increasing the capabilities of the POSI services substantially, also contribute back to the FRDCSA as people become interested in extending the software.

Currently the FRDCSA is still in the process of being redistributed. (You can help with that). The system is large and has many dependencies, so packaging it has taken a long time. Additionally, there is material unsuitable for redistribution (such as software that is not licensed for redistribution) which needs to be removed.
Currently, there are two ways to obtain a copy of the FRDCSA, but they are not yet open to the public. The first is through git, and the second through the debian packages made by the Task1 system.
At present, you need a Debian GNU/Linux system.
